Game Audio Boston – Safe Space Policy

Game Audio Boston is committed to creating an inclusive community, where everyone feels accepted and safe. All are welcome, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, socio-economic background or physical appearance. We do not tolerate harassment of any kind. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, verbal comments (related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance,
race, religion or age), deliberate intimidation, stalking or following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Attendees asked to stop any kind of harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If you are being harassed, notice someone else being harassed, or have any other concerns, please notify an organizer as soon as possible. Organizers may take any action they deem appropriate if this policy is broken, including but not limited to removing the offending party from the mailing list or Facebook group and disallowing entry to future events. Organizers can also assist with contacting the appropriate authorities in more serious cases.

All reports of harassment will be treated as anonymous. Names will not be included in any communication with the offending party unless permission is explicitly given to do so.

Every Game Audio Boston attendee is invaluable, and we thank you for helping us to make this community as warm and welcoming as possible.
